Hi there, congratulations on your engagement! I’m James Simmons, the owner of Austin Area Weddings. Since my teenage years, I’ve had the joy of serving others, and I truly LOVE what I do. Being part of a couple’s big day is an incredible honor, and officiating weddings is something I’m deeply passionate about.

With over 30 years of experience and more than 2,100 ceremonies officiated, I’ve made this my full-time profession for the past 12 years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Unlike part-time or weekend officiants, this is what I do every day, and I pour my heart into every single ceremony.
