Baked. is a custom cake studio in Seattle, founded in 2010 by Kristina Serfass and Natalie Vorpahl. Kristina, the current owner and cake artist, brings a rich culinary background to her work. Raised in a Sicilian family with a passion for food, she was inspired by her German mother’s artistic talents. After graduating from The Art Institute of Houston, Kristina’s career took her to unique locations, including a Coast Guard icebreaker in the Arctic, McMurdo Station in Antarctica, and a fishing camp in Alaska, before settling into specialty bakeries. Her diverse experiences have shaped her approach to cake artistry, blending culinary skill with creative design. Kristina operates Baked. with a small, dedicated team, including her husband, focusing on creating custom cakes that are as delicious as they are visually stunning. The studio has gained recognition, winning Food Network?s Cake Wars twice and being featured in The Knot and Lego episodes.
