I’m Rabbi Mark Getman, and I specialize in crafting beautiful, custom wedding ceremonies in Cedarhurst, New York, and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re planning a traditional Jewish, Interfaith, or Secular wedding, my goal is to blend deep respect for tradition with your unique modern love story. I work closely with you to curate a one-of-a-kind script that captures your voice and vision, and I guide you through the Ketubah signing, Chuppah ceremony, and the breaking of the glass.
Beyond my rabbinical ordination in 2012 and years of spiritual leadership as a part-time rabbi at Temple Emanu-El of Canarsie, I am a professional SAG-AFTRA actor, a military chaplain, and a Guest Chaplain for the U.S. House of Representatives. I bring that same professional presence, warmth, and voice to your ceremony to keep your guests truly engaged. I speak English and Hebrew.
