Philadelphia String Quartet – Philly Strings, Philly Q, or just PSQ – is known by many names, but we’re far more than your average string quartet.
PSQ is a collective of about 30 passionate musicians who come together in various ensembles to share the joy of live music. From intimate concerts to weddings and corporate events, we’ve performed thousands of times over the past 15 years. Our members come from diverse musical paths – Curtis and Juilliard grads, jazz school alums, and self-taught talents?but we all share one thing: a deep love for music and a commitment to giving it our all.
Our Philosophy
If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
We believe the right sound can change everything. We don’t settle for “good enough” – we aim for exceptional. We serve every audience with respect and heart, no matter their background. Everyone in PSQ takes ownership – there’s no passing the buck. Whether it’s a wedding, concert, or rehearsal, we all pitch in to create something extraordinary.
