It can be easy to get lost in the creativity of the wedding invitation, spending hours selecting paper, font, and photos, and sometimes we can lose track of the information that a wedding invitation needs most. To make sure your carefully-crafted invitation doesn’t miss out on the key points, try comparing it against this wedding invitation checklist:

1. The Who

This is the most obvious addition, but you certainly wouldn’t want to forget it! Make sure your names are clearly legible and are printed at a focal point of the invitation – after all, the wedding is all about you, and it’s your names that you’ll want the reader to notice first. Make sure to include your first and last names in some way, just in case your guests know more than one Pat and Jean. You can also include the names of your parents and of any other hosts or special people that may be involved.
