How did you and your partner first meet, and how did your relationship evolve leading up to the proposal?
Randall and I met about 1.5 years ago at our favorite hotel bar, where they play beautiful live music in Miami Beach. It was a whirlwind romance as we knew from the start that we had a special connection. Things progressed rather quickly and within 4 months we were going on our first romantic trip to Europe, in particular Italy. I expressed my love and appreciation for Italy as I lived there about 10 years ago. So when Randall and I went back to Italy this year for our second annual summer Euro trip, he already had it planned that he would ask me to marry him there ! We went to Tuscany as part of the trip as we had tickets to see Andrea Bocelli in his theater in Montaione

What were your initial thoughts and feelings when you realized a proposal was happening? Were there any special moments or hints leading up to it?
When the day of the proposal came, I had a little hint he was planning to ask me as he was acting a bit nervous that day. He told me to wear something nice as he has planned a beautiful dinner overlooking the Tuscan hills setting Of Castelfalfi – the most picturesque hotel in Tuscany.
He had worked closely with Benjamin the Director of Guest Relations to plan the magical day. So, the evening of the proposal, he told me to meet him at 7pm sharp in the lobby. I think inside I knew what was about to happen, so I started to go get ready and felt a deep calmness.

Describe, please, the day of the proposal — where it took place, how it happened, and any special details?
As I walked out of the elevator, Randall was there waiting for me, all decked out and looking handsome. Everyone in the hotel watches and smiled as Benjamin lead us to watch a lady sing in Italian and a guitarist played next to her. I couldn’t understand why Benjamin was still with us as we were sipping our champagne. Then he turned to me and asked well are you ready for the next part and smiled ? Randall offered his arm as Benjamin leas the way to the hillside dinner. As we started approaching the gazebo, I saw a huge heart of roses and candles set up. Benjamin stepped aside and Randall grabbed my hand and lead the way. I looked over and saw a videographer and photographer across the way.
At that moment it struck me what was happening, and I began to cry. The emotions running through me were a feeling of shock, and I was filled with happiness. It was a feeling of elation and surprise that I had never really experienced before. The beautiful sunset, the flowers, the setting, and the music was just perfect. It was all so memorable, and I was so surprised I almost forgot to say yes ! It felt like the most magical moment of my life. We danced and then did a beautiful photoshoot, and I felt so in love.
